December 5 ADVENT

Day 5: God’s Faithfulness in the Waiting

Title: Faithful in the Waiting

Opening Quote:
“Advent is a time of waiting. But our whole life is Advent—that is, a time of waiting for the ultimate, for the time when there will be a new heaven and a new earth.” – Dietrich Bonhoeffer

Hello!
Waiting is hard, isn’t it? Whether it’s waiting for a prayer to be answered or for Christmas morning to arrive, it stretches us. But Advent teaches us that waiting is not wasted. God is working even when we don’t see it.

Lamentations 3:25 reminds us, “The Lord is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him.”

Today’s thought:
What are you waiting for right now? Instead of focusing on the waiting itself, think about how God might be using this time to grow your faith.

Your challenge:
Start a journal for Advent. Write down your prayers and your hopes. Look back each week and notice how God is moving, even in small ways.
