What a beautiful truth: God is with us. Advent is the story of Emmanuel, the God who left heaven to walk among us, showing His love in the most personal way.

Matthew 1:23 says, “The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Emmanuel” (which means “God with us”).

Take time to reflect on how God has been present in your life. In what ways has He shown His nearness and care?
