It’s so easy to get caught up in what’s right in front of us—our problems, our plans, our distractions. Advent is our reminder to look up and fix our eyes on the One who is coming to redeem us.

Luke 21:28 says, “When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.”

What’s keeping you from looking up? Take time today to shift your gaze from your worries to Jesus.
