A New Season, A Fresh Direction

As the leaves begin to change and the air turns crisp, I’ve been reflecting on the direction of this blog and what will serve both me and my community best in the coming months. After much thought (and more than a few cups of coffee), I’ve decided to keep my focus on writing—through this blog, a future Substack, e-books, and even a digital magazine, rather than stepping into the podcasting world. Writing has always been my first love, and it gives me the most freedom to share ideas, stories, and encouragement in a way that feels authentic and sustainable.

Supporting Small Business, One Feature at a Time

One of my biggest goals this fall is to expand small business support on the blog. You’ll start seeing regular features on savvy female entrepreneurs—their stories, their struggles, and the products or services they’ve built from the ground up. I believe these women deserve a spotlight, and I’m excited to share their wisdom with you.

Alongside these features, I’ll also highlight the best finds from everyday places many of us already shop: Sam’s Club, Grocery Outlet, Walmart, Lowe’s, and of course, Amazon. Think of it as me doing the legwork for you, curating items that bring value, style, and intentional living into your daily routine.

Holiday Guides and Giveaways

The holidays will be here before we know it, and I’ll be rolling out gift guides that feature makers, artisans, and small shops alongside fun, affordable finds from larger retailers. These guides are designed to make your holiday shopping less stressful and more meaningful. And because giving is always more fun when we all get to join in, I’ll also be hosting some giveaways to celebrate the season. Stay tuned—you won’t want to miss these.

Faith at the Center

My Christian faith remains at the heart of all I do, and you can continue to expect faith-based articles and reflections woven throughout my posts. Whether it’s encouragement for everyday struggles, lessons from scripture, or honest conversations about living out faith in a complicated world, this will always be a place where those truths are honored.

Reality TV Corner

And yes, for those who enjoy a good dose of reality TV along with your coffee—I’ll keep covering my CBS favorites: Survivor and The Amazing Race. This season is especially intriguing since it’s packed with former Big Brother players. Spoilers may already be floating around, but I still think we’re in for some drama, strategy, and entertainment worth talking about.

Looking Ahead

This blog is growing into something that blends faith, community, small business support, intentional living, and entertainment. My hope is that you’ll find inspiration, practical ideas, and maybe even a little fun here each week. Thank you for being part of this journey, and I can’t wait to share what’s next as we step into this new season together.
